Jessica Emami interviews Asaf Eyal on his very public resignation from Columbia University’s School of Social Work where he served as a Field Instructor. After reporting disturbing mobs of antisemitic and anti-Zionist intimidation to administrators who did nothing to protect Jewish students, Asaf turned his diploma upside down and started a viral trend of alumni turning their degrees upside down to pressure campus administrators to take antisemitism seriously.
The Flip Your Diploma campaign went viral, and is now one of the forces challenging campus administrators to take a deeper look at pro-Hamas student organizations that have crossed the line of pro-Palestinian advocacy into pure unadulterated antisemitism.
